Ashley brings practical business experience, deep outdoor-sector knowledge and a calm, hands-on approach to every project.

 

He has built and sold businesses, worked across sport, leisure, water safety and public-risk management, and supported organisations ranging from small enterprises to national bodies.

Through Mentrau Bach, Ashley helps clients make sense of complex challenges, manage risk well and find practical ways forward. His work includes consultancy for organisations such as UK Athletics, British Rowing, and sport and recreation groups, alongside wider experience in activity tourism, events, governance and community projects.

Based in North Wales, Ashley is equally at home in a meeting room, on a mountain, by the water or helping a team get stuck into delivery. Outside work, he enjoys long-distance running, mountain biking, canoeing, wild swimming and volunteering locally — including with Dolgellau parkrun and Keep Wales Tidy.
