We love rural communities, living and working in Dolgellau it's hard to miss commercial forestry in the landscape. Whilst big machines make for profitable timber this can leave a very different landscape.
As the local managers for woodlands.co.uk we appreciate how important smaller woodlands, and sensitive management of small woodland (under 20 acres) is to some owners.

Chainsaw work
Whether it is a single tree or an area of windblow we can provide fully qualified and insured woodsmen and women to cut wood
Moving timber
We use portable capstan winches to move and stack timber without using large machines
Accessing remote areas
The largest machine we use is a small quadbike. With very low ground pressure and high manoeuvrability this makes any area easy to access and work
First Aid Training and Provision
We are delighted to be a training provider for REAL first aid and have a lot of experience of providing first aid in remote outdoor environments. So whether you want to increase your own confidence and skills, or have a qualified first aider in your woodland we'd love to help.
