Rebecca Wood
Developing people has long been a passion that has allowed me to become a recognised expert in the learning and development arena.
I’ve successfully designed and rolled out award winning programmes for clients in financial services and automotive which have changed not only the bottom line, but the culture; something key in today’s ever-changing world.
My personal development to where I am today was driven by the fast pace and continual change in the sector where I started in L&D, within contact centres.
I love working with, and help the evolution of, all levels within an organisation. Recently I have also particularly enjoyed mentoring managers starting out in their careers, passing on the nuggets of wisdom, knowledge and learning that I have been lucky enough to have gathered along the way.
Working in today’s volatile, and challenging business environments, where ambiguity of the future is common, the focus of giving leaders and managers the right skills to engage, motivate and retain their staff is my key focus. This can involve all, or just some, of the full spectrum of my L&D skills. From hands-on training, designing, coaching, assessing, account managing, identifying talent, career and succession planning to writing and implementing performance management frameworks.
Seeing people flourish with new skills is fulfilling, but of course the return on investment for my clients stays central to all my work.
